Ilonica Bolts Build - Homing Elemental Caster (1.0.24)

Ilonica is the homing caster line: three-element bolts that track targets so your damage lands even while you’re kiting. The most “hands-off” build on this list for raw output.

Why it works

Homing three-element bolts means uptime isn’t gated by your aim — the staff does the aiming. That frees the entire run budget for stacking the three elements the bolts carry.

The element spread

• Ember 4–6 · Glacier 4–6 · Magitech 4–6

Keep the three elements spread around 4–6 each rather than maxing one. The bolts carry all three, so a balanced spread keeps every bolt damaging instead of one element hard-carrying and two stalling. Elementalist Miracle compounds the three-way scaling, and the Ghost costume keeps the squishy caster alive while the bolts track.

Leveling order

1. Bring all three elements up to ~4 first — the triangle floor.
2. Then push toward 6 as the run allows, keeping them within a point of each other.
3. Defensive layers (the Ghost costume path) as needed — you’re a caster, not a tank.

How to play

Kite freely. The homing bolts keep damaging while you reposition, which is the build’s whole advantage over aimed casters — use it to stay at the edge of aggro and let Elementalist do the math.
